Cesar Chavez Learning Academies is actually the only LAUSD high school physically located in the City of San Fernando. CCLA is the home of four distinct high schools. While ArTES utilizes the magnet application, the others are part of the Zone of Choice application in late winter or early spring (more information here http://achieve.lausd.net/Page/4867). Students attend classes at one of the schools, but share in extracurricular activities.
Social Justice Humanitas boasts several teachers of the year at the LAUSD and state level, a college-going culture (every student eligible filled out UC/CSU applications), and one of the few LAUSD schools that require Cs to graduate. SJHA recently was recognized by the California Student Aid Commission for 100% participation in filling out FAFSA, and once again in 2019, 100% of eligible seniors applied to CSU and UC campuses.
Academy of Scientific Exploration embraces the Character Counts! program and ASE students are regularly recognized as Students of the Month by the City of San Fernando. Technology Prep Academy rounds out the complex.
