VRHS #5 Openings

Humanitas Social Justice has a few openings. Their FB page is http://www.facebook.com/SJHumanitasAcademy and their phone number is (818)838-3915.
The Academy of Scientific Exploration has openings for 9th and 10th graders. Their website is http://www.academyofscientificexploration.com/ and their phone number is (818) 838-3926.
And the Teacher Prep Academy has openings for 10th grade. Their facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Teacher-Prep-Academy-at-Valley-Region-High-School-5/172194889516097 Phone is 818-838-3946.
Residential boundaries will still apply, but NE Valley (San Fernando, Sylmar) residents who are interested should call quickly before they’re gone.

This is one of the new magnet schoosl that wasn’t listed in the Choices brochure. While I am certain that they are accepting for 1st grade, I am unsure about the other grade levels.

The Center for Enriched Sciences located at Lockhurst Elementary in Woodland Hills still has openings. Their number is (818)888-5280.

For what grade levels? Is this a magnet school or would this be an open enrollment permit?

The highly-acclaimed (Grammy Foundation & Bravo Award-winning) Music Academy at Hamilton High School actually has openings, too… for perhaps 20 students. It appears that a number of Caucasian families did not enroll as expected.
